Tuesday, August 12: I drove to Fallingwater in Farmington, PA about twenty minutes from the the B&B I stayed in, Quite House, for the 8:30 two hour tour. The extended tour is the only one in which you can take photos of the inside. I was very excited, seeing that I had been wanting to go to Fallingwater for a very long time. Once there, I got to enjoy Frank Lloyd Wright's Masterpiece. This is probably the most famous and renowned home in America and for good reason. This is the quintessential example of "Organic Architecture" (please see photos). “Organic Architecture,” as the name implies, is the integration of nature and design/architecture.

Arrived just in time to have lunch at The Seasons restaurant. It was very good. They are known for their organic, nuevo cuisine. After lunch I went for my first full body scrub, followed by a sauna, steam, and shower, then a Swedish, deep tissue massage, then a hot tub, then another sauna and finally another shower. After getting all loosened up, I went back to my room to prepare for dinner. I had dinner at The Tavern, probably the most casual place at Nemacolin to have dinner. The following day, I packed up to leave. But on my way off the grounds, I stopped by the "Auto Toy Store" (see photos). Mr. Hardy, founder of 84 Lumber, was very fond of collecting cars.

Wednesday, August 13: That night Mindy (a friend who lives in Pittsburgh) and I met her friends Scott and Amy for dinner at a sushi restaurant in Shady Side called Umi. Then Mindy and I went to a local bar called Walnut Street Grill. Then we went across the street to Dock's, which has an outdoor deck. We met up with Scott and Amy there along with some of their other friends. On Thursday went to lunch w/ Mindy at Primanti in Oakland (near U of Pitt & Carnegie Mellon U.). Primanti is a very famous sandwhich shop in Pittsburgh. Is known for its huge sandwhiches, which include french fries in the sandwhich ... very tasty and bad for you.
